Churro Cookie Cups

And just like that Spring faded away… Okay, so Spring is not quite over yet, but it’s almost there. That being said, I’ve been trying to make the most of the remainder of the season. Someone recently told me not to think of this current situation as “free time”, because nothing is free. In fact, time is one of the most valuable things a person could have. This really made me think. That is undoubtedly true. It would be so easy to let this time slip away by spending hours on social media and Netflix series. But the truth is, we’re all meant for more.

To be honest, I am guilty of spending my fair share of time on social media. I have been; however, making a point to limit my time on it. Instead, I am using that time to read books I have been putting off, develop new recipes, work on myself (spiritually, mentally, physically, and emotionally), as well as dive headfirst into many new exciting projects!

It’s just a powerful reminder that this is not “extra time”. It’s time that’s going to be lost whether we use it or not. I cannot wait to hear all of the ways you’re making use of your time!

By the way, here’s a new recipe just in time for Cinco De Mayo! I hope you love these churro cookie cups as much as I do!

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Mix flour, cocoa powder, baking soda and salt in medium bowl. Set aside. (16)
