Pecan Pie Truffles

I’m not going to lie, these truffles were supposed to published before Thanksgiving! What can I say, except that this month really got away from me. To make it up to you all, I’m bringing some great Holiday recipes to the blog in December!

This recipe, (I promise!) is worth the wait! If you’re a fan of pecan pie, then you will really love it! These truffles have all flavor of a slice of pecan pie, packed into a piece of candy! They are perfect for Holiday parties and gift-giving, as they travel well and don’t need to be refrigerated! Happy Holiday baking!!

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Mix flour, cocoa powder, baking soda and salt in medium bowl. Set aside. (1)

In a medium-sized bowl, stir the brown sugar, pecans, and Vanilla Wafer crumbs together.

Stir in the melted butter, maple syrup, and corn syrup. Add the pecan flavor oil.

Scoop and roll into truffle sized balls and space evenly onto a lined cookie sheet. Chill for 30 minutes.

Melt white chocolate and dip each truffle and place back on the cookie sheet. Top with pecan pieces and edible glitter (if desired).
